Air Admittance Valve or In-Line Cheater Vent

Not sure I know the difference, but I'm planning on replacing the ones under kitchen sink and bathroom lavatory. Currently they are in-line vents. Should I go back with the same or switch to an air admittance valve.

    Same device.....different names

    Ones used by majority of RV MFGs are cheap junk type....$6 or so at hardware stores (black with vent holes...screws into a stub pipe on sink drain lines

    Better ones also available at hardware stores....

    They are just hand-tightened so easy to remove...replace
