I'm going to change out my front airbags, so I jacked up my MH tonight and took off the tire. With the A frame hanging down as far as it will go, it does not look like the bag can go up between the coils, I hate to take the spring out so has anyone here done it without taking the spring out?
Better to through it all out and replace with Henderson super steer coils according to your loaded front end weight and be done with the air bags forever.
But if you must and hopefully you already have proper road height for alignment, otherwise you're wasting your time, as these bags won't appreciably raise the front end.
Anyway, you might try removing the old with a hole saw. With the new, use hot soapy water and twist them as tight as possible before attempting to insert them.
However, with what Camping World charges for replacing them, I don't feel it's worth the effort.
