I've been procrastinating on this project for over a year out of dread. I bought the bags but when I got under it, it made me tired just looking at it. I do have a sawzall to cut the old bags out, but I don't see how the new bags would go through that tiny hole. I know, I know, it's been done lots of times but holy moly it looks tight.

I have to carry on now since I bought everything. I too thought the hole in the bottom is too small, but going to give it a try. If I had to take the springs out, than for sure I would get new springs. Got the bolts soaking with wd-40, also going to put new shocks on, I'm sure these are the originals by the way they look
