I have a four winds 29r class c. The roof ac is positioned right above the living area which means that one side blows directly in the overhead compartment and the other one blow3s out toward the bedroom. seems to me if I moved it back tp the next vent at least I cou7ld get some cooling on me and the noise level in the living area would be reduced. What you think and has anybody done it?
I don't think the OP has ducted air.
From your description you do 'not' have ducted air correct?
The air comes out directly from the ceiling mounted unit?
Either way IMHO, JMHO cutting holes in any RV roof is just begging for water leak problems I doubt your A/C unit is as small as the roof vent you want to move it to. And IMHO it will not be much more quieter.
You say it blows up in the cab over and you want it to blow on you instead. You mean while you are driving??
