2112 - My rig is a 1983 Jamboree (Ford E350) and it is running the original Coleman A/C. It only has 55k miles of road usage, so I imagine there should be lots of life left in the compressor.
Joeprinter - I couldn't find a schematic for my A/C, but the two silver ones look original and the black one looks like an add on. I think the black one might be a hard start cap. I was able to read the values on the labels of the caps. and just ordered exact replacements for all of them.
As a side note, there is only one double ended motor that drives both the internal fan and the condensor fan. Should it ever become an issue, I found replacements online for about $50 and it looks very easy to replace
A really kooky thing I noticed, is that I actually have a gas charge fitting on my freon line. I have never seen that on a sealed compressor setup (done a fair amount of cleaning work on small fridges and window A/C). :h
Honestly, there is so very little to this unit that if the compressor were to fail on me, I would be willing to tackle a replacement without removing the unit.
It worked great after the new caps. were in though, so I would hope it will continue to work well for quite some time.
