We had an '84 Class C with a Coleman on it, and with cleaning it ran like new. All I ever did on it was protect the compressor wiring from chafing and reattach one of the compressor mounts.
Well, that and replace the shroud. It was like egg shells. Couldn't even lift it without pieces coming off. I got a MaXXair(.com) TuffMaxx replacement shroud, which is about the same price as the Coleman part but quite a little beefier. Just noticed MaXXair is now an AirExcel company. That's along with RVComfort, which is Coleman.
