You can easily add helper air bags, and they DO make a big difference. If you are handy with tools, you can do it in your driveway as long as you have a good jack and a couple jack stands. I installed Firestone Ride Rite airbag helper springs from SD Truck Springs a couple years ago to help correct my ride height and to help stabilize the ride due to worn leaf springs. I bought front and rear air bag sets along with a compressor and wireless 4-corner control system for the air bags, but have only installed the front so far. I replaced the front leaf springs last year, but kept the air bags. Made a WORLD of difference in handling and ride quality. My biggest problem now is that I need to install the rear bags to get the ride height back to normal. I look like one of these young bucks with their pickup truck jacked up in the front and squatting in the rear.
