  • Huge difference between a 27' and a 39'! That would play a big part in the decision making process for me. Good luck!

Vista is entry level but is still same quality as more W upscale models. We had a 30' vista and traded up to a 34 bago sightseer after 1 year. Shoulda bought the 34' first time. W makes everything in house and controls their quality. Except appliances and the like. Same Ford chassis and motor.
  • I love the 92 airstream 33 I had but the quality of the build was not there. I repaired lots that you could tell were factory goofs.
  • I have the Airstream 365 DP (2003)and love it so far. I've only owned it since December though.
  • This is a bit like trying to decide between a nearly new, lightly equipped Honda Civic, or your grandma's lightly used, fifteen year old, Buick LeSabre. They both provide a lot of the same utility, but are totally different vehicles, from different ends of the spectrum. We own a 2007 Vista, and have been relatively satisfied. It's light on features, fairly well built, definetly a "vacation grade" unit, and at 34' a nice size. Personally, after spending the better part of three years living in it 60-80% of the time, as a couple, the wife and I find the smallest of Vistas to be a bit too tight, space-wise, to be acceptable. I can't comment on the Airstream, other than to be careful with opinions from diehard Airstream enthusiasts, as they can be loyal to the point of not being very objective, and would sing the praises of any Aistream, even if it was on fire, and crashing off a cliff:)

Too funny... :B and reminds me of other brand disciples.
Brings up the question of why just these two units, to choose from?
  • Considering both are in good condition then drive them. I spent a lot of money trying to make gas ride well. Now have dp. Size will be a big part of the ride improvement and living enjoyment.
