alarm sounding when I turn lights on
I notice whenever i turn my headlights on I get a tone that sounds a lot like the one you hear when your jacks are down. I continues for several minutes then shuts off. Any idea what the issue is?

- I thought maybe one was out but they both work.
- Did it start doing this after you changed the headlights?
- i replace both headlights, have no tow vehicle and they are all clean.

Jack H - That's the dirty lens warning...clean the headlight lenses and the sound will stop.
- If you have auxiliary power to a towed vehicle to supply power for a transmission pump, this happens. If you bought the vehicle used, it may have been the former owner's additions. A box with lights may be present under the dash. If so, this is a tow vehicle accessory that may be giving this issue.
- Lamp or filament outage? Check your lights, headlights, tailights, turn signals and clearance lights.
