First off hardly any dealers store tires for all the different size rigs in their yards. The tires you got were ordered from another supplier. Should the dealer have checked the dates? Perhaps, but then again, so should you have checked the dates. The tires you got were stored in a dealers inventory so your "dated" tires were hardly ones that had two years of usage as they did not have weather and sunlight exposure. I understand your gripe, but, to be honest, you are making a much bigger deal out of something that is not a huge issue.
From your post here and elsewhere I think that perhaps you may be better served to not sweat what isn't really an issue and go out and enjoy your rig. Life is too short to be spent growling at the wind.
