And please do not listen to everyone on this site.
There are still well over 1000 Alfa's on the road. Frieghtliner chassis
Cat, Cummins, Mercedes engine.
All products Norcold, Dometic, Atwood, Coleman Mach AC. All parts still available.
Yearly National rally held in April, with over 100 rigs joining. 7 Alfa Chapters across the USA. Many small rallies held by the chapters. - RVERExplorerTHE are beautiful to look at but from what I have heard and a friend who had one, that is what you will be doing, looking at it instead of driving it. LOTS of problems with majority of the units and NO BACKUP now that the manufacturer is OUT OF BUSIness KEEP AWAY! Just my opinion but I spent time typing this so.....
- sarhvac1Explorerthanks for the input everyone guess I will keep looking the price was very intriguing I had read some other reviews of these coaches and they are quite mixed some love them some don't but most say the delam problem was mostly between the years of 01-05??
- moishehExplorerThere is a member in this forum with an Alpha that is one of the nicest MH's you have ever seen. However he is exceptional, talented and a real fusser. If you want to look at this unit please report your findings.
Moisheh - crassterExplorer IIThere is a reason they are out of business.... Free market works.
- IvylogExplorer IIIBeing 6' 4" their high ceiling appealed to me but the lack of quality was obvious plus I had a friend who sold them at a RV dealer in a small town. He moved to another town so he would not have to sell them. Do not walk, RUN.
- afrescopXxExplorerDo a search. You will see 2007 brand X, Y and Z selling, for example for $125,000. The equivalent Alpha See Ya @ $80,000. Why do you think it is that way?
Buy cheap, get cheap. - smlrangerExplorerIMO, too many other better choices out there. With very few exceptions, every one I've seen in our travels just looked worn out. Bubbles in sidewalls due to delaminations, trim falling off, etc. I just get the impression they did not hold up well.
- Teacher_s_PetExplorerNo way, bad adhesion of side wall materials was one of the major things that put them out of business.
- SCVJeffExplorerThere are lots of Alphas around but they do have some serious delamination issues. Do some serious homework before you get too excited
