All weather mat for between seats of a Ford E350

I'm going to be buying the WeatherTech front mats for my coach with the Ford E350 chassis. Currently I have a one-piece carpeted mat that is the two front mats and well as a mat between the seats. The carpet is old and worn and needs replaced.

Any ideas what I could buy for use between the two front seats that would look nice with the WeatherTech front mats?

  • We bought a set of truck mats for E350. Trimmed to fit for both front sides. The set included 2 rectangular mats that came attached. We trimmed that one piece to cover the center floor (just in front of doghouse)
  • Ford actually makes a rubber mat that goes under the seats and the footwells one piece arround the dog house, we had them on the ford E-250 of the crime lab and the prisoner transport van, check with a Ford dealer, they might be a bit pricy or check with a junk yard.

  • We have a dog bed between the seats. You guys are lucky you have space to work with!

I found a nice solution to mud and gravel in the minivan. I cut a large piece of outdoor carpet and trimmed it to fit the whole floor area on the driver's side. Put a car mud and snow rubber mat over it. Works great, in 20 seconds I can whack them both on the cement retaining wall to clean them. The carpet is cheap - I don't mind replacing it every year. I'm going to try a rubber backed door mat next.

Places like Tractor Supply sell 4x8 sheets of rubber matting in various thicknesses intended for horse stables and similar uses. I might work from one of those, probably one of the thinner grades.
  • The weathertech mats are WAY overpriced. I'd go with what ADOR suggests.
  • I couldn't find anything that is specifically made for the middle part, where the dog bone cover is at. I also got the weather tech rubber mats. They are great. I went to a local Autozone. Purchased SINGLE rubber mat that almost looked like the weather tech. Then, I made a cut out for the dog bone, using a paper template. I then traced the template to the rubber mat, and cut the portion I didn't need. Worked great so far.
