In mine (and many others) opinion, it would behoove you to make the change-over to Transynd. It's a tad costly to do it in the onset but, the change interval frequency is seriously extended. And, as I understand it, Transynd runs cooler. I don't have scientific proof but, never the less, it been in ours for about 5 years now and, that trans is/does perform(ing) flawlessly. The folks at Allison say that two complete drains and one filter change is all that's needed to facilitate the changeover. That replaces enough of the original Dexron to allow for the benefits of the Transynd to take over duties.
