Allison 3000MH service cost
Transmission has 62K and is sluggish when shifting gears at times. Fluid level is fine. What can I expect to pay for a service replacing the current syn-tran fluid, filter, gasket etc.

For whatever it's worth, in 2004 while at an FMCA rally in Albuquerque I attended a seminar hosted by the Allison Transmission Co.
The Allison Rep. stated that if the transmission came with Transynd fluid, the main filter must be changed at 5,000 miles then the next service would be at 150,000 miles, unless it had a Retarder, then it must be serviced at 75,000 miles.
Not sure whether those service requirements have changed over the years.
