Allison transmission
When you change the transmission oil, do you have to use the allison filter or can u use an aftermarket one?

NAPA has their own filter that probably meets the Allison requirements. Just like various manufacturers that make their own "Transynd" type transmission fluid that meets all of the 295 requirements as set by Allison.
