Alternative to ZEP?

Is there an alternative...being equal in ease to put on and lasting power of ZEP. I'd like to redo certain sections of Winnie, but don't want to buy a whole gallon at $25. Something smaller scale, maybe that I could buy at a parts house. This would need to be something I could put right over ZEP. Thanks.

Your profile says you are in S.E. Texas? I live in Orange, have nearly a 1/2 gallonof ZEP High Traffic that I used on my previous rig and scored and concrete floor.I also have a little remover. I will give it to you if you are close enough.
  • If you were closer to us (Florida) I'd sell you a gallon....cheap.
  • red max was made by zep supposedly so that is why it is no longer available. zep took the product line down to only theirs.

If you can find Red Max Pro #3 it will work. That was the original, less expensive brand that was replaced by Zep. It had been sold at Lowes, but I haven't heard of anyone finding it for the past few months.

I bought a case of 4 gallons of the Red Max Pro III in October of 2012 when the Lowe's Homecenter store near me was closing it out on special for 0.60 cents a gallon. I paid $2.40 for a case of gallons, plus 8.25% sales tax.
