I found the new valves on ebay and they were listed by zorotools.com
Here is the item I bought--SMC CHK BRS 810-8M8M-F, Piston Spring Check Valve,Brass,1/2"
The total cost for the two valves was $41.32. I saved the shipping charge by adding another small item to my order. But they charged me shipping on both and I had to ask for a refund. They were super nice about it though and refunded both shipping charges.
