I get it. We started camping (a pop-up) to be immersed in nature; in the woods or desert or by a lake. No desire for a resort with pool and crowded sites. Mostly all state, national parks and forests. Almost never a private campground which is what you are describing. Through the many years we've "upgraded" to a 30 ft. class C MH towing a car. But we still greatly favor public campgrounds in nature using RV resorts and private ones only for convenience occasionally. I wonder if the problem is not that you have a MH but that it is too big for the sites in natural places. Over 30 ft. can be a problem but closer to 20 or 25 ft. and you can get into many beautiful natural campsites. For example, all Florida State parks have water and elec. hook-up and most can accommodate fairly large motor homes. Or skip the hook-ups and enjoy many wonderful national park campsites.
