You need to learn to work the internet better. If you have owned this RV for a year and been out every weekend, you still have not nearly covered the available campgrounds just in the lower peninsula. Maybe you have seen 10% of them. There are literally several hundred to choose from. Yes, the state parks do tend to be electric only and not even much of that. But they are campgrounds, not crampgrounds and not parking lots for the larger part.
You just need to broaden your search and work a little harder.
