Am I going to regret going C
We have a 20 year old Damon Daybreak class A that has served us well, but is now reaching that point where repairs are becoming more costly and it's time to start shopping. Yay!
The Damon has no slides, so I definitely want more space this time around. Budget wise, C looks like the best option for now and we've found a couple of floor plans we love. Plus, I think I'll like the safety aspects of the C more than the A. (Airbags and a better constructed cab feel better to me than the open A.)Outside storage has been the only issue, but we've found two plans that almost make that a neutral, but with big gains on the inside over what we have.
We've test driven a few and feel like the handling is going to be fine, although different from the A. Not necessarily better or worse, just different.
But the feeling I can't shake is that somehow I'm going to regret going C. I wonder if, after a while, it will feel like we've downgraded? (Although, with the age and lack of amenities on the Damon, almost anything is going to feel like an upgrade, at least for a while.)
Has anyone gone from A to C and regretted it? Did you somehow feel like you went backwards?
