Since this project I did an EPDM recoat. As part of that, the left side now has a continuous strip of EternaBond RSW-4-50 White Roof Seal tape

folded over the edge of the roof. So that is well-protected. On the right side, the awning roller holds the cover up a little bit.

I inspect the roof frequently.
