One more thing to add to your paralysis. If you ever plan on sleeping at a walmart parking lot (wallydocking) or at a rest stop, It may be less "obvious" if you are in a class A.
For weekend trips, I think a class A is superior because what's a two day stop after all? Enjoy the CG for two days.
A class A on long trips with a toad ensures you more if there is an RV engine failure or problem, you still have a car to get around in. Cell phones don't work sometimes in the boondocks + the security of being able to "follow your coach" into town for repairs with a working car is nice.
But I believe as much as I hate admitting, that a 5th wheel makes a lot of sense. They are large, they unhook from your vehicle, and you can use the vehicle in town. No toads. No RV motor breakdowns for the specific RV (in other words you can upgrade, replace, downgrade your TV at any time rather than being stuck with the same engine & transmission for the coach)
The 5th wheel makes the coach & truck different costs, but that can be a good thing. Each thing can be interchanged with one another. The downside is your F250 insurance will be like a regular vehicle.
It's a long hard decision in front of you. I barely lean at the 5th wheel unless you are going on longer trips sometimes (not in time but distance) and don't mind a toad. If you are going on longer distance trips and want the safety of a 2nd vehicle and if you may crash a night at walmart, cracker barrel or other places that allow, Class A.
