Heck I can't even tell what brand it was. Wonder if it had RR or if it used LP?
You know not all RV fires are caused by the Fridge.
I have seen one, personally, and chatted with the owners in another case. And neither one was a Fridge fire.
In fact one of them was a TT and it was the Tow Vehicle that burned, Only fire damage to the trailer was external and smoke.. (That one I saw with my own eyes)
The other was a DP. part of the exhaust came apart (A flexible section) fell over against a wiring harness and set it afire.. The owner managed to extinguish. and they put him up in the same Motel where I was waiting out a repair. (Different kind, no fire).
Also though not an RV many get converted to RV later in life (And some were converted to RV at time of manufacturer) I've been on a "Greyhound" type bus (I do not think it was Grayhound, I think it was Indian Trails or Trailways but they all use the same type of bus) which had a fire.. There is no fridge.. And My church parish bought such a bus for the Youth group and though it did not catch fire.... It came very very close due to a dry bearing (Fire was called to cool it off) As it happened one of my co-workers at the time used to drive for the company the church bought it from.. That very bus.
So not all fires are the fault of the fridge.
