The built-in unit is called a 'Kidde Duel Spectrum' I have a green indicator light that tells me that the system is operating correctly. If there is a problem, the alarm will sound and then I can activate the 'button'.
It is noted in the manual that the coach will need servicing if that system is activated to have the engine cleaned, etc. (if a false alarm or minor issue).
