What is the real world observed MPG on the Thor Axis? Any idea on the annual cost of full insurance on a new unit?

We just bought the 2015 Thor Vegas which is the same coach as yours, but with different headlights for $68970. We've only been on one trip of 1300 miles. We get 11.2 mpg with no TOAD and a bit of tail wind. Our full coverage insurance here in Miami, Fl. from StateFarm is about $1000 per year.
