I assume you are talking about the f53 ford chasis to reduce sway? Did mine on previous coach and don't remember having to force anything but I did use my jacks to level it taking pressure off the suspension. Also I found replacing the rubber bushings with polyurethane made a huge difference. I used the black so they didn't squeek like the red.
