The preparation is the key to success and longevity in the process. I spent a lot of time with final wash and rinse using Dawn detergent. Then I spent a lof of time with just wiping it down with fresh water until all traces of detergent was gone. The application lasted over 3 years on one side, (sunny side mostly) and I simply used the removal solvent to remove it (about a two hour job on one side of the MH) and re-applied. The other side showed no flaking or deterioration so I just freshened it up with a single application of RMP. BTW: we fulltime so its always in the elements.
