I was in a park in Orlando last year. They had a sign up saying they were not responsible basically for electrical issues. I heard they had had power surges before and had messed up peoples electrical. That's one of the first things we bought, my husband mounted it permanently inside the electrical bay so I don't have to chain it up like I've seen people do. It has a delay on it and will also turn off if issues. I did have it shut down in that park a couple of times, I'm guessing it saved us enough to pay for it. It was around $300. Ours is a Surge Guard.
