I work on my Monaco almost every day.
Today I replaced the drawer slides in one of the large storage drawers. Third time for that drawer, I think someone is sitting on it when it is open. Twenty Bucks.
Yesterday I fixed the dash radio. Switch got set wrong while cleaning. Free.
Last week I fixed the dash air. Jumpered around a bad freeze interlock switch. Free so far, do have to replace the switch, the unit freezes up every hour or so...
A few weeks ago, one end of the big slide wouldn't go in. Took 5 minutes to find the bolt and nut that had loosened up and fallen out, 1 minute to fix. Free.
I do oil changes every 15k miles per cummins, annually seems a waste.
Allison is change the fluid once after 3 years, then it is good to go for 100,000 miles.
Coolant is one change third year, then good to go for 10 years regardless of mileage.
2 michelin front tires last year (275-75-22.5 though FMCA) were $1100. 6 would have been $3300... No idea how or why the OP paid $5300 for 6 tires...
The OP's post is for sure "worst case." A NON-DIYer, paying retail times 2 for everything.
Life can be very expensive for someone who has to "call the guy" all the time.
