Until and unless you sell, depreciation never comes into play. Other concept not talked about much is usage. If you use it enjoy it, build memories, have great adventures then, it is money well spent. If not then it is money not so well spent.
I have a small class c, were I to count depreciation (bought used) repairs etc, probably out about 27K in 12 years. But the things we have done, places we have seen and gone. Things we never would have done without it, money well spent in my opinion
