RV ownership is not for the light wallet .. At least not a recient vintage .. There are plenty of folks living in much older rv's .. All types
I also think the cash only idea can be false I borrowed at a very low rate .. Less than I'm making in a similar secure investment ( Ira) I would have to pay taxes and loss of interest on the money so the loan made sense .. One of the few things in the RV that does make sense $ I can withdraw that money at any time and pay "cash" and get out or certainly the difference if upside down. Putting all the money in the MH and lowering my "cash " access didn't make sense to but everyone makes there own decisions.
A newby's who sinks everything they have into a MH and hits the road in my mind needs a sense of reality check the OP provides!
Over the past 20 years I've lost Over 100+ Grand maybe more easily! I've had rv's I've owned .... I don't want to know the exact amount. I chose the lifestyle and have the means to support it but it still hurts !
