I've never understood this justification. If you want to spend a night in a hotel, you don't buy the entire hotel, do you? There's a better chance of one of those things happening in a hotel bed than a used motor home.
Ever fly in an airliner? Ask the plane cleaners what they find in the seats. Rental car? Booth in a restaurant?
New sheets and a mattress are way cheaper than a brand new motor home. And who knows what the guys at the factory did in your new bus before you took delivery.
