(anti)sway bar for 1996 Road Trek

I recently purchased a very low mileage Roadtrek, and find that at 65 MPH and above, there is a good deal of sway back and forth, as if buffeted by wind. I understand that the company did not install any (anti)sway bars at that time. Does anyone have a recommendation for a brand of anti sway bar that has made a difference in these older models?

  • I have a 1997 Roadtrek 170, I installed a 1.25" Addco antisway bar at the front, helped. The original is 1". I also installed a Roadmaster Active Suspension at the rear, stiffened the rear suspension and raised ride height about and inch. Handles much better now. Short rant: why didn't the manufacturer take care of some of this, after all they charge a hell of a lot of money for what is really deep down a plumbers work van.
