I'm 59, DW is 54, had the Bounder for ten years. Before that it was a 5th wheel, several TTs and Popups. I grew up around Kerr Lake in NC, camping since I was a toddler, Wife grew up in AZ's White Mountains...living in camper.
Our FMCA membership was free for 1st year with our Bounder, and before that year was up we had joined a club, and have been enjoying our club's company since them. Yes, most of our club members are older, but we do have some that are younger than us.
We both still work full time, plus manage several rental properties, and with 2 grown kids and 7 Grandkids, we do stay busy, but always seem to get away for our monthly club rally and the annual area rally. Holiday week-ends we spend with the Grandkids at some water park or amusement park.
When retirement comes in a few years, we'll probably get a newer MH to travel cross-country with, sell the big stick and bricks place and move back into one of our smaller rental houses that we left years ago when the kids were getting big.
