Any problems with plastic coolant tank on Cummins engines?
Just curious if anyone has had problems with cracking on the plastic coolant tanks. I've heard there's a metal replacement. Anyone switched? I have a ISC 8.3 350hp Thanks Brian

My tank exhibited classic UV deterioration sines. The only area that was bad was the areas exposed to the sun. That area had multiple cracks and was brittle and crumbled in your fingers. The areas protected from the sun were in good condition.
