Sounds like you don't have many options. I think you could (1) use the same method as the brake controller wire or (2) install some type of rigid wire conduit along the flat bottom of the rig.
When I installed rear cameras, I could run the wire along the frame rail/existing wire looms. It sounds like you do not have that option available.
