Anyone Add A 3rd 12V Socket In Their Ford Dash Here?

The place you are looking into could work. I routed my vacuum hose though that and there is enough space. I don't think taking the radio out will be enough. I would take the passenger side knee plates (plastic cover and 2 metal plates) and you will have pretty good access.
Another idea would be the plastic cover of the knee plate on the passenger side. really easy to get to. Maybe even gluing them on the side of the socket.
