Material pricing is just strange. I'm putting up a wainscoting on my deck made from some left over tongue and groove Ipe I have from when the deck surface was done years ago. Too hard to shoot nails or staples through so I need stainless steel trim screws. Big box store wants $10 for 40. I will need about 1000 to finish the job. Went to Amazon, $70 for 4500. Same screw, saame manufacturer. Makes no sense. Saved a few $$ but now I'll have about 3500 screws left.
