Here is my walnut cut to proper size for the counter. I only photo'd one side, but I did both.
If you notice, the last 12" at the other end of the counter has no walnut there.
That's because I have something special planned for that area. I want to add a 12" piece of tile there on both sides.
I really wanted to add that to the other side for the area next to the stove, and decided to keep the look balanced, so I'll be adding one to this side as well.
I wanted to glue this down today, but decided to sleep on it one more night, "just in case".
