So, here are the results of my labor today, - well some of my labor....
I've got both counters secured with adhesive and screws, and by tomorrow they will be married. Married? Yes... The 2 shall become 1, and it will be very difficult to separate them. Lol.

Here we go..... Those are not coming apart, and I figure after a few coats of Por 15, that should keep the black walnut from absorbing or losing moisture.
Remember, the test I did with a small piece of plywood, and after coating it, submerged it in water, and it did not absorb any moisture? Yea, that one. Walnut should be stable.
Then again, time will tell.
