I haven't built the shelf yet, but I do have the drawer bottom cut close to the size I need it.
After putting the template for the washer in place, it dawned on me that this next shelf, which will be about 5-1/2 inches high,
might be a wonderful place to possibly store the wife's "puttin' on her face items".
That would allow her to pull the drawer out - use what she needs - then just close the drawer. Outta sight - outta mind!
Not set in concrete, but it might be a possibility. I'll have to check with the other half later.
