Time to cut a new set of drawer fronts for these 6 drawers. The one redeeming factor in this situation is ..... (drum roll) ... I can still use these incorrect ones for the next set on the other half of the drawers under this counter.
The second set will be more narrow, so all I'll have to do is to shorten them a few inches, recut the dovetails, and we'll be good to go.
Therefore, it's not a total loss.
The front of the drawer sides were about 1/2" more narrow than the back half. Still don't know how I made them wrong, but I did. Duh!
Sorry for the out of focus pic. The outside edge at the rear of the drawer is about 20"
The outside edge of the front is about 19.5"
As you can see, I cut the dovetail right where I had it marked!
