The Lap-Top is a PITA as it has some programs I installed in 2015 when it had Windows 7 on it and I can't find some of the install CDs and the registration keys. Yea, if you don't keep the keys in a "safe" and recognizable place, they can be a little rough. Most, not all, programs can be downoaded from the mfg's website.
Sometimes the mfg will have them if you registered the program when you bought it, but frequently, most people don't.
