- WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Then, depending on how you look at it, it blends in pretty good. Not perfect, but this only has one coat of Lacquer on the wood, so we'll see how it looks after it dries and more coats are added.
Either way, it does provide a way to use some sawdust to fill nail holes and imperfections, just by using sanding dust and whatever you are using for a top finish.

- Then, I just filled the hole that I wanted to. I also added some Lacquer to the wood, and left them to dry.

- Next we make a slurry of sanding dust and ... in my case, since I am using Lacquer for a finish on the shelve fronts, I mixed Lacquer and the black walnut dust.

- I'm glad you asked. First of all, we take a little of said black walnut dust and put it aside.

- By the way.... When you are sanding, it's a good thing to save some of the sanding dust that you created while doing said sanding.
Say What???
- Sanding, sanding, sanding.
Sanding, sanding, sanding.
Keep that puppy sanding.
Sanding, sanding, sanding.
Did I mention I was sanding today????
Ah, yea. I cut some more strips today for the passenger side shelves, and then proceeded to sand them.
Once you get to the point, when you put the sander down for a minute, and your hands are still tingling and vibrating, you know it's time to stop.
- Our electric was finally restored today. Amazing how many things we do that we rely on electric for.
That's going to have to stop.
Solar power and batteries ..... here we come ..... eventually!
As far as I know, I might actually get more work done tomorrow! Wahoo! - I also laid down the black walnut pieces that I plan on using for the counter top on this side. I stepped back, and took a picture.
No, they are not fastened down yet, nor are they joined together in the middle.
However, once all of these have a finish on them, I think they will look pretty cool. Well, I must admit, I do like the look of black walnut, so I may be slightly opinionated.
Anyhow, the lighter plywood will make for a nice contrast between the two.
- I started cutting these up yesterday on my table saw, and then the electric went out, and that was the end of my night.
These are the strips for the passenger side shelves.
