- navegatorExplorerCheck out the West method of fiberglass building, and yes the cloth disappears and you see the wood, looking good. thanks for the update.
navegator - donkeydewExplorerare you going to put grass in it for the easter eggs? that is one fancy easter basket, seriously it looks good
- Here is a mini update for those of us who are going into withdrawl, including myself. Lol.
This is what the inside of the sink is starting to look like. This has 3 strips of Oak on top, followed by a strip of Black Walnut, then one of Mahogany, followed by the Oak below that.
This will be sanded a little smoother, then covered by fiberglass cloth, with Epoxy covering it. From what I am told, after a few coats of Epoxy, the cloth is no longer visible, and all that is seen is the wood, with the extra strength, of course.
Evidently this is how it looks with wood. Here they are building a wooden strip canoe.
Some of you have more knowledge of this than I do, but this is what I am shooting for. LouLawrence wrote:
As usual, off topic and no one really cares. Maybe your wife could use it as an ironing board. I suppose the coroner could use it if necessary. Can't be get back to the important stuff like building a saw horse or watching paint dry?
Maybe we could also watch some glue dry as well as paint?navegator wrote:
What to do with this discovery?
Get 3 (2"X2") and 3 (12"X18"X1") plank and then round one end of the 2x2 as a 1/2 sphere cutting them to 20" long and attaching the plank to form a tee, using the three drawers and the boards as a table sit the 3 guests on the "T".
The two legs of the guests and the T form a tripod and you have 3 more guests to dinner!

Nice explanation on building single leg stools. Lol.- LouLawrenceExplorer IIAs usual, off topic and no one really cares. Maybe your wife could use it as an ironing board. navegator - Last night I was sitting in the motorhome on my mechanics roll around seat, and made a discovery.
I was sitting between the counters, and I pulled out one of the drawers. I thought, hmmmm, maybe I could lay a piece of plywood on top of the drawer, and, low and behold, I just created a nice little table.
No one could walk past me while I was sitting there, but, it created some extra space for putting something there.
When I got up, then it was easy to walk between the counters to get to the bath area.
So I pulled out 3 drawers, and covered them with wood, and stood back and looked at the "new" creation.
Obviously, this would be very temporary, but provide a surface either about 12 inches wide, and 6 feet long, or 18 inches wide.
Either way, with no one standing there, access to the bath area is easy.
That leads me to tonight's $65,000.00 question.
What could this configuration be used for?

Throw out your best ideas! navegator wrote:
