- LouLawrenceExplorer IILooks like the old days when I was flying radio control airplanes as a hobby. Every time the basement looked like that the wife was really pissed that she was taking me to the hospital (somehow it was usually around dinner time). I hope it was not that serious!
- stripitExplorerOh My, that looks like a delay in production is coming your way? Hope that is not as serious as it looks.
- joerg68Nomad IIIWhatever happened ... get well soon!
- Good news and not so good news.
2 x 3's are now down another $.50 a piece to $5.48. Not great, but a little better, as I need to get a few.
This is probably not good.....
- Wahoo! 2 x 3 x 8' are down to $5.98 in our area! Ugh....

You're welcome. Thanks for asking, as I probably would not have thought about doing that. Definitely interesting.
Perhaps different types of fiberglass cloth might be different. This stuff is kind of "stringy" and easily cut with a pair of scissors.- PastorCharlieExplorerThanks, that is very revealing
- And of course, finally, the big one. Lol. If you can call it that.

As you can see, there is a major difference between just the cloth alone, and adding either Por15 or Epoxy.
I haven't tried Fiberglass resin, and probably won't unless someone wants to see what that will do.
If so, let me know. - There is nothing like trying to wrestle with a greased pig. That's a little what it felt like trying to hold on to fiberglass cloth.
Here are the results of the 3 tests I ran. The final one was the one where I had the best grip on the cloth.
As opposed to the earlier tests with Por15 and Epoxy, the cloth by itself would stretch some. Once the Por or Epoxy was applied, there was no stretching. It just held until it broke.
