- sundancer268ExplorerThey are not a Newmar exclusive, I have seen them in the big box stores in the past.
- PastorCharlieExplorerI like those latches. They are also in our Newmar and never had one to open in motion.
- JoeHExplorer IIIThese are the latches they use in my Newmar... sturdy and pretty small. They are $1.46 from Newmar Part 124329

- ro_sieExplorerNow, to discover how you will lock them in place while moving!
- Here we go .........

When drawers and slides are set up properly, ... as my mom used to say, "they move like greased lightning".... Lol.
Ok, maybe not quite like that, but they do slide very easily with very little effort. - Next step was to put the drawers back into place.

- I put my framework into place, took this picture, and then screwed this puppy into place.

- Unfortunately, I only took one shot of this, and didn't realize it was out of focus, until I looked at it on my computer. Oops.
I started waxing the drawer sides/slides today in preparation for the install.

just my thoughts
I think when it is finished is the proper answer. I am sure there are hopes, but when it is a DIY and also a dream, God only knows.
That is pretty close. As I said above, I hope to try some things out later this year, possibly finish up next year.supercub wrote:
Just curious if you have an idea when you'll finish this project?
Depends on how you describe "finish".
In the case of when will it be at he point that there is absolutely nothing left to do.... well, that's kind of anybody's guess, as I don't really have a hard date to get it done.
On the other hand, I think, realistically, I may be able to have it road worthy and able to camp in it later this year.
Will every piece of trim be in place at that point? Probably not. Then again, after a camping trip or two, that should tell me if I need to change something else to finalize things.
There, that should be about as clear as mud... Lol.
