I have started to do just that several times.
I do not use it at all.
If I have roof issues I use one of my other ladders at home.
I can reach the center point from them.
For accessing the front cab-over, I prop open the hood and
stand with one foot on the front cross support and the other on the ladder. I can reach up to the marker lights form there.
If I had to climb onto the roof, it would go to the local RV repair shop.
My roof walking days are pretty much over.
