Anyone repaired a cracked AC shroud?

My front unit is cracked all over and I used caulk on it. I mean there's caulking everywhere else, so a little bit more can't hurt and it's been there for years with a little touching up, now and then. Epoxy would be good, I'm sure, but would take a lot of it for the longer cracks.
Can't see anything wrong with the tape, either and maybe use it on the bottom side with some caulk on top.
