If you hold off for a about a week, I believe the CR Spotless unit goes on sale at Costco on 9/4/13. The latest Costco "Fall Into Savings" that we just received shows that deionizing system will be $369.99 from 9/4/13-9/22/13. This price is an ONLINE-ONLY OFFER and includes DELIVERY. The item number during the sale dates will be #667322. The picture in the flyer and amount of sale savings corresponds to the current item #180790 on the Costco site.
Been thinking about the same purchase as well.
the_armadillo,
Outstanding Sir, that information is greatly appreciated. Yep, I can hold off for that long. The coach is dusty right now and we've got no plans for immediate lift off for at least a couple to three weeks or so. I'm always in the mood to save bucks. And, to other posters who've contributed to this, I thank you very much. The topic of keeping these rolling gymnasiums clean pops up on a every so often basis and as usual, everyone's got a plan.
I try not to use a lot of water when washing any vehicle, I think it's wasteful, but, I do want them clean. I even carry a mini pressure washer on board for when the beast gets bad and we're out on the road. I find a desolate spot, fire up the genny, hook up the mini P/W to the output side of the Sure Flow and, with the help of my folding 6' ladder, it's all done in about 45 minutes, plus or minus. But, in order to keep the water spots at a minimum, I do a section at a time, then move on.
But, obviously the deionized system I'll be purchasing is for home use. So, again, thanks to all who've helped here. Greatly appreciated.
Scott
We carry ours with us, as we live fulltime on the road. We did not pay the Costco price for ours ~ less. Love it. We too use a power washer, to make the best use of the water supply.
